Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience as a Software QA/Automation Engineer
- Proficient in programming/scripting with any language, preferably Java
- Solid understanding of SDLC, particularly automated QA processes in agile development environments
- Experience in writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites using various technologies including Selenium, Groovy, Junit, TestNg, SoapUI, and RESTful Client
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools to support development processes
- Strong knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD & BDD
- Expertise in testing RESTful and SOAP web services in an SOA system
- Working knowledge of Database concepts
- Demonstrated familiarity with CI/CD tools for integrating Automation scripts
- Experience in testing ETL, BI, and SaaS solutions is advantageous but not mandatory
- Highly self-motivated and flexible with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to creatively engage and achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamic small company environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities
- Domain expertise in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics
- Previous experience in the ERP domain is a plus
- Familiarity with systems like ActiveMQ, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and nginx
- Experience with security protocols such as OAuth and SAML and related frameworks
- Working knowledge of virtualization and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions like Amazon Web Services
- Building test infrastructures using containerization technologies such as Docker and operating within continuous delivery/continuous release pipeline processes
- Certification such as ISTQB, CSQA, or CSTE
