• Minimum of 0-1 year of experience in designing and managing large-scale database systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential. Extensive coding experience with Python (3.6 and above) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• Working knowledge of AWS Data Engineering tools such as Athena, Glue, EMR, and DynamoDB is desirable.
• Exposure to Agile software engineering practices.

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining systems supporting various quantitative research projects across business domains.
• Collaborating with developers and analysts to ensure data requirements are met for research projects and applications.
• Automating workflows to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc.
• Analyzing performance issues in the database layer and contributing to performance tuning efforts.
• Ensuring the quality of technical and application architecture and system design across the organization. Researching and benchmarking technologies against industry standards.
• Functional Skills:
• Experience in Banking, Financial, and Fintech sectors within an enterprise environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in adhering to coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
