We are looking for Android Developers who excel at problem-solving. Ideal candidates should have experience in programming, user interfaces, and developing applications on Android using the Android SDK. As an SDE I – Android, you will build maintainable and testable codebases, focusing on API design and unit testing techniques. • BE/BTech/BCA/BSc in any discipline
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant role
• Experience with at least two Android apps
• Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and related ecosystems
• Knowledge of Material Design guidelines and common mobile UX patterns
• Experience with Android libraries like Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso, RxJava, Gson, and Arch-components
• Understanding of functional and reactive programming paradigms
• Experience with consuming REST APIs
• Proficiency with Git and continuous integration
• Strong skills in object-oriented programming and multi-threading
• Understanding of advanced Android concepts such as Custom Views, Accessibility Services, and background processing APIs
• Knowledge of architectural patterns, especially MVVM, and their testability
• Proficiency in debugging, identifying memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and using tools like ADB and Proguard
• Ability to discern good design from bad and write clean, maintainable code
• Apps published to the Play Store are a plus

• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and assist in architectural planning and refactoring
• Address bugs and enhance application performance
• Design and develop new features and improvements for the Android platform
• Mentor interns and support team members
• Collaborate closely with QA, engineers, product managers, and designers
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features
