About This Role

American Express is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as an Analyst - Data Science. This is an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates and postgraduates to start their careers with a globally recognized organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or related disciplines, and a passion for working with data and machine learning algorithms.

The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI-driven solutions, and contributing to the development of the company's AI product strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related disciplines from reputed institutions
Strong analytical, quantitative, and structured problem-solving abilities
Solid hands-on knowledge of AI/ML, with experience in Python, SQL, data analytics, and data visualization
Good understanding of the Machine Learning Development Lifecycle (MDLC)
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms such as Decision Trees and Boosting techniques
Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Vertex AI, and other AI/ML services

Responsibilities

Help define and shape the long-term AI product strategy and roadmap, aligned with clear business goals
Solve complex business challenges by owning and prioritizing AI-driven solutions
Manage and prioritize product backlogs, balancing inputs from stakeholders and partners
Evaluate and refine features in the AI product pipeline based on evolving business needs
Contribute across the entire product lifecycle, including research, planning, competitive analysis, development, and launch
Lead end-to-end ML/AI product development, working closely with engineering and design teams
