About This Role

The Centralized Research Group (CRG) collaborates closely with the firm’s Global Investment Banking (GIB), Global Corporate Banking (GCB) and Commercial Banking (CB) teams offering customized financial solutions across Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity / Debt capital raising, Credit, Treasury, Cash Management, Trade, and Markets, among others.

Requirements

Under-graduate degree from a top tier institution with excellent academic record and a strong interest in making a career in finance
Strong communication skills (written as well as verbal) and an ability to precisely articulate thoughts
Close attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality output under pressure. Ability to efficiently multi-task and handle multiple deliverables / projects
Strong team player demonstrating integrity and ability to work with teams across geographies. Pro-active, self-starter and an ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Strong analytical bent of mind and quantitative skills

Responsibilities

Marketing materials and deal support: Work with colleagues in Mumbai and across regional locations to prepare marketing materials including company profiles, public information brochures, bulletins, benchmarking analysis, pricing updates, earning summaries, treasury pitching materials, credit analysis and competitor analysis.
Financial analysis: Understand and learn to analyze a company’s financial statements. Set up trading and transaction comparables, valuation models and financial metric benchmarking for companies
Research: Source and interpret company / industry information from a variety of data sources (company reports, Internet, online databases, J.P. Morgan proprietary content).
