About This Role

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead agile technology groups and motivate engineers to create dependable, high-performance, and expandable software using modern frameworks.

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering advanced applications by supervising agile teams. Using strengths in Java, Spring Boot, Python, AWS Cloud, and contemporary engineering methods, the candidate will maintain technical quality while nurturing creativity and continuous progress.

Requirements

Solid background in guiding and managing software development teams
Strong command over technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, and end-to-end full-stack development
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, microservices, DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing using JUnit
Practical exposure to AWS Cloud platforms including Lambda, ECS, Glue, SQS and related tools
Knowledge of Kafka and large distributed application environments

Responsibilities

Offer both technical direction and long-term strategy to development teams while building a mindset focused on quality
Manage planning, coding, and release of full-stack and microservices-based platforms
Support effective SDLC, DevOps practices, CI/CD workflows, and automated unit testing
Design and roll out solutions on AWS Cloud infrastructure
Maintain strict benchmarks related to security, efficiency, and code performance
