About This Role

Oracle is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Software Developer 1. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Strong foundation in computer science and software engineering
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with software development methodologies and version control systems
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies

Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks
Build enhancements within an existing software architecture
Use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the software
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Participate in agile development methodologies and version control systems
