About This Role

Qualcomm is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as an Associate Engineer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the creation, testing, and verification of software used in Qualcomm's advanced modem-RF chip solutions.

Key Responsibilities: The selected engineer will contribute to building and validating applications for next-generation wireless products. The team designs and maintains drivers for top modem-RF transceivers, working closely with RF hardware specialists, baseband experts, and ASIC designers.

Requirements

Strong ability in C coding combined with awareness of communication or RF systems
Familiarity with digital wireless concepts and radio technology
Knowledge of embedded real-time platforms and RTOS environments is desirable
Exposure to 5G, LTE, or similar technologies will be considered beneficial
Good interpersonal abilities with effective verbal and written communication
Skills in debugging embedded software using C/C++
Awareness of general software engineering methodologies

Responsibilities

Contribute to building and validating applications for next-generation wireless products
Work on the creation, testing, and verification of software used in Qualcomm's advanced modem-RF chip solutions
Design and maintain drivers for top modem-RF transceivers
Collaborate with RF hardware specialists, baseband experts, and ASIC designers
Develop and refine RF front-end, antenna, and transceiver algorithms to enhance overall device efficiency
Offer technical support for resolving complicated modem and RF-related challenges
Partner with physical layer units to introduce innovative features
