About This Role

TOPSOE is seeking a highly motivated and talented IT Trainee - Software Developer to join their team. As a Trainee Software Developer, you will play a key role in the continuous improvement of our existing applications and support the operation and lifecycle planning of current tools.

You will handle a broad range of developer responsibilities, including programming, documentation, and building knowledge for yourself and your colleagues throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your work will involve developing in-house software tools and applications using Ionic, Angular, and TypeScript, as well as supporting and enhancing complex applications built with these technologies.

This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders, gain hands-on experience, and make a tangible impact on real-world projects. You will bring a passion for software development and a willingness to learn new technologies, with a foundational understanding of programming concepts, especially in .NET and C#, as well as basic SQL.

Requirements

A degree in Software Engineering (B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, or M.Tech) from a reputed national institute with an excellent academic record
Foundational understanding of programming concepts, especially in .NET and C#
Basic SQL knowledge
Familiarity with developing complex applications using Ionic, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript
Good understanding of object-oriented programming
Strong client-facing and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

Developing in-house software tools and applications using Ionic, Angular, and TypeScript
Supporting and enhancing complex applications built with these technologies
Handling a broad range of developer responsibilities, including programming, documentation, and building knowledge
Escalating unresolved queries to the next level of support, ensuring smooth operation and client satisfaction
Collaborating with colleagues throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Building knowledge for yourself and your colleagues
