About This Role

Alight is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee to join our Product Engineering team. This role involves working on the development and support of enterprise-grade products across Cloud Engineering, Data Analytics, and AI/ML domains.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a basic understanding of programming concepts and cloud technologies. The candidate will work on developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based applications, data analytics pipelines, and AI/ML initiatives.

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with senior engineers, troubleshoot and optimize product performance, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements

Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities
Basic programming knowledge in Java, .NET, Python, and/or JavaScript
Understanding of cloud concepts, data processing, and AI fundamentals
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based applications using modern frameworks and tools
Working on data analytics pipelines for large-scale data processing and visualization
Contributing to AI/ML initiatives, including model development, testing, and integration
Participating in CI/CD and DevOps processes for continuous delivery and automation
Collaborating with senior engineers to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance product performance
Documenting technical processes and maintaining code quality standards
Contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies
