GE HealthCare is seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Engineer Trainee to contribute to the development and innovation of cutting-edge medical technologies.

The successful candidate will participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of medical imaging and diagnostic equipment, software, and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong academic record with a proven understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java) or relevant engineering software (e.g., CAD, MATLAB).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior internship or project experience in a relevant field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of medical imaging and diagnostic equipment, software, and systems.
  • Assist senior engineers in conducting research, analyzing data, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and product management.
  • Support the implementation of engineering best practices and quality control processes.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to enhance technical skills and domain knowledge.
  • Present findings and progress to technical teams and stakeholders.
