About This Role

Autodesk is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and managing automation workflows using n8n and Microsoft Power Automate, as well as building Python-based AWS Lambda functions to assist automation logic, changes, and connections.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, scripting, or automation engineering, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

0–2 years of experience in software development, scripting, or automation engineering
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Python Foundational (required)
Experience with workflow-based automation platforms such as n8n, Power Automate, or similar tools
JSON and/or YAML configuration files experiences
Exposure to backend automation orchestration or integration platforms is a value-add
Excellent communication skills (English) - verbal and written

Responsibilities

Create, develop, and manage automation workflows using n8n and Microsoft Power Automate
Build Python-based AWS Lambda functions to assist automation logic, changes, and connections
Use RESTful APIs, webhooks, and events to connect automated processes with both internal and external systems
Deploy and support automation services using AWS-native patterns and existing CI/CD pipelines
Monitor automation executions, analyze failures, and participate in incident debugging and solution
Write Python code that complies with accepted engineering standards and is clear, tested, and maintainable
Collaborate closely with senior engineers to comprehend needs and convert them into dependable automation solutions
