About This Role

We are looking for a Training and Documentation Specialist to support Micron’s Global Quality (GQ) engineering department. In this role, you will create documentation to support the learning and development needs of GQ team members, ensuring that they have high-quality documentation to a) learn how to perform a task and b) perform it consistently and accurately.

Requirements

Strong English-language skills
Written communication – you can organize and present information clearly and concisely
Interpersonal skills – you are comfortable talking to people at all levels of an organization
Problem solving – when confronted with a challenge, you listen, observe, and analyze what’s truly going on and then work independently or with collaborative partners on an effective solution
Project management – you can identify, plan, organize, and execute the tasks required for successful project completion

Responsibilities

Work with internal customers to understand documentation needs for on-the-job training
Conduct and/or participate in meetings to ensure knowledge management resources meet end user needs
Create documentation to support learning, knowledge sharing, standardization, etc.
Maintain and update existing materials
Educate internal customers on the importance of documentation, as well as on documentation guidelines and improvement
Ensure materials are stored in the appropriate system
