Requirements

Understanding of the complete software development life cycle
Familiarity with development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
Knowledge of modern tools, technologies, and services used in IT
Hands-on experience or exposure to Java (Servlets, JSP, JavaScript)
Experience with J2EE frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL, or IMS DEDB
Understanding of Web Services including SOAP and REST, and WSDL concepts

Responsibilities

Work closely with teams across business and IT, including architects, service managers, project managers, business change teams, and third-party partners
Support Product and Project Managers in identifying required engineering resources
Contribute to technical planning by balancing cost, time, quality, and risk
Understand and follow all phases of the software development process
Assess the impact of change requests on applications and products
Design, develop, and review system components to ensure alignment with overall architecture
Collaborate with other development teams to ensure end-to-end system integration
