About This Role

CGI is seeking a Jr Data ETL Test Engineer to join their team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and validating data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Requirements

B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science or related fields
Strong foundation in computer science and software engineering
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing concepts

Responsibilities

Test and validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
Identify and resolve data quality issues
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurately and efficiently loaded into target systems
Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts
Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and improve overall data quality
Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and analytics
