About This Role

Cision is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team on a work-from-home basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent and high-quality coding and analysis results, as well as guiding junior coding teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and coding, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of experience in coding, query writing, data analysis, or reporting
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in English
Comfortable working with data, reports, and coding
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Ensure consistent and high-quality coding and analysis results by tracking performance and delivery deadlines
Assist and guide junior coding teams, providing guidance to improve accuracy, efficiency, and analytical quality
Manage content searches, data uploads, and prioritizing coding tasks and conduct regular data checks based on project timelines
Utilize knowledge of data flow and tools to identify and fix problems
Update regularly to the manager, communicate to prioritize tasks and manage workflow
Contribute to assigned reports, generate charts, research and write robust qualitative insights
Support team leads and senior analysts on a daily basis
