Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, with a focus on CS Fundamentals: Data Structures, Algorithms, Problem Solving, and Coding.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java (preferred), C++, or C#, or a scripting language like SQL, Perl, Python, XML, or Ruby.
  • Ability to write clean code for basic data structures problems and algorithms in any chosen language.
  • Familiarity with best practices in software engineering: design, testing, version control, documentation, build, deployment, and operations.
  • Aptitude for understanding and troubleshooting application-level issues or internal tool problems with minimal guidance.
  • Capacity to devise simple solutions without over-engineering.

Responsibilities

  • 1+ year of experience in software development and handling highly scalable systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for medium to complex issues.
  • Exposure to AWS Technologies such as AWS S3, Dynamo DB, etc.
  • Deep understanding of business objectives relevant to your team and stakeholders, and how applications or tools contribute to achieving these objectives.
