About This Role

Deutsche Bank is seeking a Technology Apprentice to join their team. As a Technology Apprentice, you will be responsible for development and testing of strategic future state technology landscape for all DWS Corporate Functions globally.

Key Responsibilities: The role involves active participation in requirement understanding, development, testing, and implementation of solutions. You will work closely with the team to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall landscape.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or an IT-related discipline
Core Java, Python, and database technologies knowledge
High analytical capabilities
Proven communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Hands-on code development
Thorough testing of developed software
Code review of other team members
Participate and manage daily stand-up meetings
Articulate issues and risks to management in a timely manner
Analyze software defects and fix them in a timely manner
Support testing on behalf of users, operations, and testing teams
