Requirements

  • Bentley Systems is currently seeking a skilled individual with experience in bridge and/or road design to join their Civil Engineering group as a Software Quality Analyst I.
  • The role entails being part of the Product Advancement team and involves validating and functionally verifying a suite of Civil Design and Analysis Software.
  • The Software Quality Analyst is expected to have expertise in Civil design, particularly in bridge or road design, and practical experience in the field, including familiarity with design specifications.
  • Collaboration with other quality analysts, product management, and development teams across various product lines is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyze product requirements.
  • Establish and maintain automation environments in Azure.
  • Develop and execute unit, regression, performance, and workflow tests.
  • Create test designs for user scenarios, test cases, and checklists.
  • Generate validation and failure analysis for automated tests.
  • Identify, analyze, log, and track software bugs/defects.
  • Work closely with team members and product managers to meet testing and development goals.
  • Document procedures and recommendations for all testing phases. Skills/Experience:
  • Possess an analytical mindset with the ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environments.
  • Experience with CAD design software, particularly MicroStation, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in automation testing, including experience with tools like Test Complete and familiarity with windows-based applications.
  • Ability to design, develop, and execute reusable and maintainable automated scripts.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and/or C++.
  • Familiarity with automated test procedures and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Initiative and self-starting capabilities to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Aptitude for analyzing information, developing recommendations, and presenting proposed solutions.
