As a Software Engineer at Equifax, you will apply modern software development practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, and CI/CD to turn business requirements into reality. You will work on designing requirements for small systems or modules within a large-scale environment and create technical documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
6+ months of experience with Java software programming
Experience with Cloud technology (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL
Familiarity with UI development (HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap)
Experience with Git/Github, Maven, Gradle, Atlassian tooling (JIRA, Confluence), and automated testing tools (JUnit, Selenium)

Responsibilities

Design requirements for small systems or modules within a large-scale environment and create technical documentation
Provide meaningful feedback on the release process, code reviews, and design reviews
Apply modern software development practices (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code)
Work across teams to integrate systems with existing corporate product platforms
Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions
