About This Role

Harman is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of System Test Intern. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing Infotainment and Cluster systems developed by HARMAN.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering and testing principles, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The candidate will work closely with the development team to identify and report defects, and will be responsible for manual validation of systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to gain hands-on experience in system testing and to work with a leading company in the industry. The candidate will be based in Bangalore and will be required to travel to different locations as needed.

Requirements

Technical graduate (BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech) with knowledge of electronics and SW development life cycle
Basic knowledge of Manual Testing and Test Techniques
Good knowledge of software and Hardware architecture
Ability to quickly ramp up on the entire system testing perspective
Good English Skills (writing, documenting, conversation)
Willing to travel different locations from base location to attend/support issues on priority
Hands-on experience in code development, debugging, and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Manual Validation (Bench & Vehicle level) of Infotainment and Instrument Cluster
Finding, Logging and Maintaining defects on system level through Exploratory and Regression Testing
Complete Ownership of Test Case Engineering, Maintenance of existing Test Suites and Adding Exploratory Test Cases to Test Suite after every release
Detailed analysis of reported problems, Bug analysis, Bug verification and tracking
Perform reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results
Independently handle both Vehicle testing and manual testing request
Supporting vehicle drive tests and long drive tests on regular basis with Customer
