About This Role

Lowe's is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as an Intern in Software Engineering. As part of the Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, you will get hands-on experience in a cutting-edge environment powering omnichannel retail and AI/ML innovations.

The primary purpose of this role is to assist with the translation of business requirements and functional specifications into code modules and software solutions. This includes assisting with the implementation and maintenance of business software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages
Ability to learn and apply new technologies
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Assist with translating business requirements and specifications into modules and Data or Platform solutions
Support the development, configuration, or modification of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of business data solutions
Support systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Support all software development end-to-end product lifecycle phases
Drive the adoption of new technologies by researching innovative technical trends and developments
