About This Role

Lowe's is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as an Intern in Software Engineering. This is an incredible opportunity for freshers and recent graduates to kickstart their tech careers at a FORTUNE 100 home improvement company.

As part of the Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, you will get hands-on experience in a cutting-edge environment powering omnichannel retail and AI/ML innovations. You will assist with the translation of business requirements and functional specifications into code modules and software solutions.

This role participates in all software development lifecycle phases and is critical to supporting software testing activities. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field
Strong understanding of computer science and/or computer engineering fundamentals
Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Assist with translating business requirements and specifications into modules and Data or Platform solutions
Support the development, configuration, or modification of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of business data solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications
Support systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality software deployment
Participate in all software development end-to-end product lifecycle phases
Apply an understanding of company methodologies, policies, standards, and controls
Drive the adoption of new technologies by researching innovative technical trends and developments
