About This Role

Qualcomm, the world leader in 5G and wireless technology innovation, is hiring for the position of Engineer, Associate for their Hyderabad office. This is a core engineering role within the Software Engineering (Modem SW) team, perfect for candidates who want to work on the technology that connects the world.

The ideal candidate will have strong C/C++ skills and a passion for embedded systems. As an Associate Engineer in the Modem Software team, you will contribute to the development of software for Qualcomm’s cutting-edge chipsets (Snapdragon).

You will work on technologies that power 5G, 4G, and next-gen wireless communication. If you are a 2024, 2025 or 2026 graduate with a strong foundation in computer science, electronics, or related fields, this is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming
Understanding of Operating Systems (RTOS concepts, Memory Management)
Basics of Wireless Communication (4G/5G protocols) is a huge plus
Knowledge of Computer Architecture and Data Structures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields

Responsibilities

Develop: Design and implement software in C/C++ and Python
Debug: Analyze and debug complex software issues in embedded environments
Test: Write unit tests and validate software on hardware platforms
Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate software components
Contribute to the development of software for Qualcomm’s cutting-edge chipsets (Snapdragon)
Work on technologies that power 5G, 4G, and next-gen wireless communication
