This is a core engineering role within the Associate Software Engineering (Modem SW & RFSW) team, perfect for candidates who want to work on the technology that connects the world.

As an Associate Engineer in the Modem Software team, you will contribute to the development of software for Qualcomm’s cutting-edge chipsets (Snapdragon). You will work on technologies that power 5G, 4G, and next-gen wireless communication.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming
Understanding of Operating Systems (RTOS concepts, Memory Management)
Basics of Wireless Communication (4G/5G protocols) is a huge plus
Knowledge of Computer Architecture and Data Structures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
Primary Skills: Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming

Responsibilities

Develop: Design and implement software in C/C++ and Python
Debug: Analyze and debug complex software issues in embedded environments
Test: Write unit tests and validate software on hardware platforms
Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate software components
Contribute to the development of software for Qualcomm’s cutting-edge chipsets (Snapdragon)
Work on technologies that power 5G, 4G, and next-gen wireless communication
Integrate software components with cross-functional teams
