About This Role

S&P Global is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team in Hyderabad. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience to work with a leading global company.

The successful candidate will have an MBA with a specialization in Finance from a recognized institute and strong verbal and written communication skills. They will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing high-quality financial data related to various investment plans and institutional investors.

Requirements

MBA with a specialization in Finance from a recognized institute
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Up to 1 year of experience in data collection or research (preferred but not mandatory)
Good listening, presentation, and multitasking abilities
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
Strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools

Responsibilities

Collect, organize, and analyze high-quality financial data related to various investment plans and institutional investors
Conduct research on asset management firms and update relevant databases
Communicate directly with investment professionals through calls and emails to gather detailed information about their investment strategies
Review regulatory filings, prospectuses, company websites, and industry publications to extract relevant financial information
Ensure all new and updated information is accurately entered into internal databases
Identify new data sources and improve processes for information collection and tracking
Address internal and external client queries in a timely manner
