About This Role

Siemens is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer to join its Research & Development (R&D) division in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, MCA, or related engineering degrees
Strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test software applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase
Work with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Participate in agile development methodologies and version control systems
