About This Role

Tekion is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Development Test Engineer to join our team in Chennai. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests to ensure the quality of our software products.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute tests to ensure the quality of our software products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Identify and report defects, and collaborate with development team to resolve issues
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our testing processes
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our testing practices
Collaborate with development team to ensure that testing is integrated into the development process
