About This Role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Workflow Automation Developer to join their team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, enthusiasm for data-driven problem solving, and the ability to learn new technologies and automation concepts quickly.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in building and maintaining automation workflows, converting business requirements into simple and scalable automation solutions, and collaborating with marketing and creative operations partners to identify opportunities for automation or process optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Operations, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing operations, system administration, or data integration
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset and enthusiasm for data-driven problem solving
  • Ability to learn new technologies and automation concepts quickly
  • Familiarity with Workfront, Workfront Fusion, or similar workflow automation platforms (Make, Power Automate, Zapier, etc.) preferred
  • Understanding of basic data structures (JSON, XML) and APIs is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and maintaining automation workflows using Workfront Fusion and related integration tools
  • Convert business requirements into simple, scalable automation solutions under the guidance of senior developers
  • Support testing, fixing, and monitoring of automations to ensure smooth data transfer and performance reliability
  • Help manage system integrations between platforms such as Workfront, AEM, Seismic, Blee, Criteo, and other marketing technology tools
  • Document scenario logic, workflow dependencies, and process changes for reference and audit purposes
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative operations partners to identify opportunities for automation or process optimization
  • Contribute to regular reviews of automation performance and recommend improvements to enhance stability or efficiency
