About This Role

VISA is seeking energetic and motivated Software Engineers to join their team. As an Associate Software Engineer in the Product Reliability Engineering team, you will be part of a full-stack team that designs, builds, and tests software solutions operating at a massive scale.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of at least one programming language and experience in building and deploying scalable web applications and services. You will work on technologies that help predict and prevent real-time reliability issues in a fast-changing fintech environment.

Your work will contribute to maintaining VISA’s world-class reliability standards of 99.9999% uptime and help shape the future of digital transactions.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in software development using Agile methods and the complete SDLC
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, Scala, JavaScript, or .NET
Exposure to building AI-driven or agent-based solutions using tools like Cline, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Power Automate
Experience in developing microservices using HTTP, REST, and JSON
Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases
Working knowledge of Git/Stash, Maven, and Jenkins
Basic understanding of streaming platforms like Kafka
