About This Role

Zoho Corp is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join their team in Pune. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, and Selenium, as well as experience in building or maintaining testing frameworks. Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Maven, and Gradle is also required.

Requirements

Strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, and Selenium
Experience in building or maintaining testing frameworks, especially BDD frameworks
Solid understanding of manual testing, including designing test scenarios (positive, negative, and edge cases)
Experience with banking or corporate banking applications will be an added advantage
Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Maven, and Gradle
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Designing and executing detailed test plans to ensure the software works correctly and meets quality standards
Creating and running automated test scripts using various testing tools to identify issues at an early stage
Working closely with developers, business analysts, and other teams to understand requirements and contribute to defining acceptance criteria
Performing root cause analysis for bugs and supporting developers in resolving defects
Participating in code reviews and encouraging best practices to maintain high code quality
Staying updated with the latest industry trends and actively contributing to technical discussions within the organization
