Job description
The primary role of a Device Associate (DA) is to follow detailed test case instructions and accurately report any issues encountered. Additionally, the DA is responsible for ensuring that results are delivered successfully and within the specified timeline.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Familiarity with QA methodology and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in testing consumer devices
Responsibilities
- Execute test cases designed for evaluating Software builds on the Fire OS platform and related products.
- Conduct test case execution and accurately document any identified bugs.
- Adhere to testing protocols and guidelines for new releases or builds.
- Carry out regression and repetitive testing tasks to validate builds, ensuring that quality standards are maintained.
- Utilize software tools daily for data capture.
- Competently document results, communicate, and escalate issues, and provide individual status updates.
- Report and resolve any test case execution issues through the clarification portal, adhering to the defined SLAs.
