About This Role

IBM is seeking a highly motivated and talented Hardware Engineer Intern to join their team in Bangalore. As a Hardware Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on the development of latest generation processors that power the IBM Z Systems (Mainframe) & IBM Power Systems.

Responsibilities will include design, verification, pre-silicon validation, physical design, EDA, library, memory characterization, and post-silicon validation of the Processor chip that is being developed in the latest technologies of 5nm, 3nm & Beyond.

Requirements

  • Digital Logic design knowledge
  • Computer Architecture knowledge
  • RISC V or other processor pipeline knowledge
  • VLSI design flow and process knowledge
  • Master's Degree
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, verification, and validation of processor chips
  • Pre-silicon validation and physical design of processor chips
  • EDA, library, and memory characterization
  • Post-silicon validation and testing
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies
