About This Role

IBM is seeking a highly motivated and talented Hardware Engineer Intern to join their team in Bangalore. As a Hardware Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on the development of latest generation processors that power the IBM Z Systems (Mainframe) & IBM Power Systems.

Responsibilities will include design, verification, pre-silicon validation, physical design, EDA, library, memory characterization, and post-silicon validation of the Processor chip that is being developed in the latest technologies of 5nm, 3nm & Beyond.

Requirements

Digital Logic design knowledge
Computer Architecture knowledge
RISC V or other processor pipeline knowledge
VLSI design flow and process knowledge
Master's Degree
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Design, verification, and validation of processor chips
Pre-silicon validation and physical design of processor chips
EDA, library, and memory characterization
Post-silicon validation and testing
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies
Participation in the development of latest generation processors
Contribution to the development of IBM Z Systems (Mainframe) & IBM Power Systems
