About This Role

Swiggy is currently looking to hire entry-level freshers as Software Development Engineer in Test at the Bangalore office location.

The role involves setting up and implementation of test automation strategy from Functional and Non-functional perspective for one module or multiple modules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relational databases, hands-on experience in Java – Test automation, and experience in any scripting language like Python.

Requirements

Good understanding of relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server
Hands-on experience in Java – Test automation
Experience in any scripting language like Python
Experience in TestNG, Maven, HTTP client, rest and web services test automation, Selenium, Appium
Good understanding of DB queries, API Testing using Rest assured, joins, etc
Understanding and implementation level experience on design pattern

Responsibilities

Setting up and implementation of test automation strategy from Functional and Non-functional perspective
Adding new capabilities and features in the automation framework
Managing and maintaining test coverage through periodic reports to engineering and stakeholders
Playing an expert role and demands a complete hands-on contribution on Single or multiple projects simultaneously
Must be an Independent executioner and has prior experience in handling complex projects with stakeholders
Creating optimal test strategy (Including Functional, Non-Functional, Analytics and automation) and test plans for short term and long-term projects both
