About This Role

Microsoft is currently offering UX Research Internship opportunities for 2026 across multiple locations worldwide. This is an excellent chance for students who are passionate about understanding user behavior and designing better digital experiences.

As a UX Research Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience working on real-world projects that impact millions of users. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to understand how people interact with technology and help improve Microsoft’s products.

In this role, you’ll conduct user interviews and usability testing, analyze both qualitative and quantitative data, and turn research insights into meaningful product improvements.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
  • Must have at least one semester remaining after completing the internship
  • Prior internship or experience in areas like UX research, design, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities
