About This Role

Salesforce is seeking a talented Software Engineering AMTS to join their team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable and reliable client-side and server-side components.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
0 to 2 years of relevant software development experience
Strong hands-on experience in C++ (C++17 or later) or Java (Java 17 or later)
Knowledge of additional languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#
Solid understanding of software development best practices, with a focus on reliability and quality
Good knowledge of architecture principles, design patterns, multithreading, concurrency, queues, locks, scheduling, and event-driven systems
Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining scalable and reliable client-side and server-side components
Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving customer-reported issues and production defects
Handling well-defined tasks and defects with guidance from senior engineers
Using AI-powered tools throughout the development lifecycle
Analyzing log files, crash dumps, and network traces to identify issues
Writing clean code, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and following coding and quality standards
Working in a hybrid engineering model, collaborating with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders
